According to the notice, the main construction content of the project is the second phase of the green hydrogen chemical demonstration project in Wushen Banner, Ordos City. Grid-connected type, new energy construction scale of 400,000 kilowatts (all of which are wind power), hydrogen production capacity of 20,000 tons/year, hydrogen used for Zhongtian Hechuang olefin green hydrogen replacement, and hydrogen storage capacity of 216,000 tons, project investment owner It is Sinopec Nova Inner Mongolia Green Hydrogen New Energy Company, with a planned total investment of 3 billion yuan. The start time is June 2023 and the production time is June 2024.

Wulanchabu 100,000-ton annual wind-solar hydrogen production integrated demonstration project. Grid-connected type, new energy construction scale of 2.546 million kilowatts (including 1.742 million kilowatts of wind power and 804,000 kilowatts of photovoltaic power), hydrogen production capacity of 100,000 tons per year, hydrogen is sent to Yanshan Petrochemical through long-distance pipelines, and the project investment owner is Sinopec Nova Inner Mongolia Green hydrogen new energy company, with a planned total investment of 20.5 billion yuan, will start construction in December 2023 and start production in June 2027.

According to the requirements, the wind and solar projects built in the demonstration projects are market-oriented grid-connected projects, and the electricity purchased by the power grid company shall not exceed 20% of the total new energy generation capacity of the project. Wind and solar projects and hydrogen production projects need to be put into operation at the same time. It is strictly forbidden to only build wind and solar projects, and hydrogen production projects are not put into operation.
