It is reported that Marcos led a huge delegation, including 85 business leaders. Most of the formal meetings will be held on January 4, 2022. The two sides will sign 10 to 14 bilateral cooperation agreements, including agriculture, trade, renewable energy, etc.

Projects in the cooperation agreement include the establishment of communication channels between the diplomatic departments of the two countries on the South China Sea issue, the formulation of a memorandum of understanding on digital cooperation, China's provision of 1.5 billion yuan of assistance, the agreement on the construction of three major bridges and flood discharge bridges in the Philippines, and the memorandum of understanding on tourism cooperation.
