Recently, during Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdymukhamedov's visit to China, the Chinese and Turkish governments signed a memorandum of understanding on the strategic docking of the the Belt and Road Initiative and the "Revitalization of the Silk Road". So far, China and all Central Asian countries have signed cooperation documents on the the Belt and Road.

Wang Wenbin, spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, said that the signing of the memorandum of understanding on the joint construction of the the Belt and Road is an important achievement of President Serdar Berdymukhamedov's visit to China, which will vigorously promote the docking of the the Belt and Road initiative and the Turkish "Silk Road Revival" strategy, further expand mutually beneficial cooperation in economic and trade fields between the two countries, and inject new impetus into the building of a community of shared future between China and Turkey, It will also push China and the five Central Asian countries to jointly build the the Belt and Road into a new stage of cooperation as a whole.

Wang Wenbin introduced that the joint construction of the the Belt and Road will steadily move forward in 2022, injecting new impetus into the world economic recovery. In 2022, the China-Europe Express will operate 16000 trains and send 1.6 million TEUs of goods, up 9% and 10% respectively year on year. Last year, the western land-sea new channel train sent 756000 TEUs of goods, up 18.5% year on year. China Laos Railway has sent more than 9 million passengers in total, the first expressway in Cambodia, the Golden Harbor Expressway, has been open to the public for more than 1 million vehicles since it was opened to the public for three months, and the first high-speed railway in Southeast Asia, the Yawan high-speed railway, has been successfully put into trial operation. In 2022, five countries and China will sign new cooperation documents on jointly building the the Belt and Road. Recently, the memorandum of understanding on the Belt and Road cooperation was renewed with the Philippines. The the Belt and Road family and friends circle is becoming larger and larger, the quality of cooperation is getting higher and higher, and the development prospect is getting better and better.Editor/Ma Xue
