On January 11, 2023, China Huadian and Harbin Electric Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement at Huadian headquarters. Jiang Yi, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of China Huadian Group, held talks with Cao Zhian, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of Harbin Electric Power Group, and witnessed the signing of the contract. Wang Xuxiang and Wu Jingkai, members of the party group and deputy general managers of China Huadian, Lv Zhiqiang and Shen Tong, members of the party committee standing committee and deputy general managers of Harbin Electric Power Group, attended the talks and the signing ceremony. Wu Jingkai and Shen Tong signed a strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of the two sides.

Jiang Yi extended a warm welcome to the visit of Cao Zhian and his delegation, and expressed his heartfelt thanks to Harbin Electric Power Group for its support to the reform and development of China Huadian. Jiang Yi pointed out that China Huadian earnestly studied and implemented the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference, resolutely implemented the new national energy security strategy, adhered to the general tone of seeking progress while maintaining stability, and accelerated the construction of world-class energy enterprises. China Huadian and Harbin Electric Group have a long history of cooperation and a solid foundation for cooperation.
