The "Multi-level Rail Transit Plan for the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle" clarifies that the function of the Nanchong-Guang'an railway is a trunk line, and serves as the connecting line between the Chengdu-Wanzhou High-speed Railway and the West-Chongqing High-speed Railway. With a speed of 350 kilometers per hour, we can actively strive to use the Nanchong-Guang'an railway as a part of the planning and construction of the Lanzhou-Chongqing high-speed railway. First, it is conducive to promoting the joint development of the northern wing of the twin-city economic circle in the Chengdu-Chongqing area. The Nanchong-Guang'an Railway is planned to be connected to the Chengdu-Wanzhou High-speed Railway in the west and the West-Chongqing High-speed Railway in the east, so that the cities in the Northeast Sichuan Economic Zone can be fully integrated into the layout of the Chengdu-Chongqing High-speed Railway Network.
