It is understood that this project is a key project of the National Energy Administration's "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan" pumped storage medium and long-term development plan, and it is also a major energy project that the Autonomous Region and Bayannur City will promote overall. The power station is located in Bayinbaolige Town, Wulatehou Banner. It is a daily regulating pumped storage power station. The pivot project is mainly composed of upper reservoirs, water delivery systems, underground powerhouse systems, lower reservoirs and ground switch stations. The installed capacity of the power station is The scale is 1.2 million kilowatts, the total construction period is 72 months, and the total investment is 9.6 billion yuan. The power station is the first pumped storage power station in Bayannaoer City. After it is completed and put into operation, it will undertake important tasks such as peak regulation, valley filling, energy storage, frequency modulation, phase modulation, and emergency backup of the western Inner Mongolia power grid.
