On January 29, 2023, the reporter learned from China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. that in 2023, the whole railway is expected to put into operation more than 3,000 kilometers of new lines, including 2,500 kilometers of high-speed rail. According to statistics, in 2022, the investment in railway infrastructure will be 369.5 billion yuan, accounting for 80.2% of the total investment in railway infrastructure.

The relevant person in charge of the National Railway Group said that we have given full play to the role of stimulating investment in railway construction to help stabilize the economic market. The railway projects among the 102 major projects identified in the 14th Five-Year Plan and the 2035 Long-term Target Outline are progressing smoothly. In 2022, the national railways will complete a fixed asset investment of 710.9 billion yuan, and 4,100 kilometers of new lines will be put into operation, including 2,082 kilometers of high-speed railways.Editor/Ma Xue
