On January 29, 2023, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, held a mobilization conference to build a first-class city and join the first square.

At the mobilization conference, a total of 101 major projects were signed with a total investment of more than 220.1 billion yuan. Among them, 14 projects were signed in the main venue of the conference, with a total investment of 110.685 billion yuan.

More than 100 signed projects

This signing has gathered a number of major projects of great significance to the high-quality development of Ningbo's economy and society. Among the more than 100 signed projects, there are 16 major projects with an investment of more than 5 billion yuan, accounting for 15.8% of the total number of signed projects, including 5 major projects with an investment of more than 10 billion yuan.

Manufacturing remains the focus of discussion. In the list of centralized contracts signed this time, there are 66 manufacturing projects with an investment of 130.13 billion yuan, accounting for 59.1%; Among them, there are 8 foreign-funded manufacturing projects and the contractual utilization of foreign capital is 2.02 billion US dollars. Three lists

The three lists of key projects released at the mobilization conference, with innovation, reform and opening as the themes, each contain 10 key projects of great significance, which shows the courage and determination of Ningbo to do hard work. For example, the establishment of a platform to facilitate the import trade of agricultural and food products from Central and Eastern European countries and the creation of a free trade port for bulk commodities, which appear in the list of key issues in opening up, are expected to inject new impetus into the construction of a world-class strong port and the construction of an international open hub.
