At the ceremony, Mr. You Jun, co-founder and president of Shenzhen Exxon New Energy delivered a speech, introducing the basic situation and product construction plan of Dali Exxon New Energy Xiangyun Project. He expressed the hope that the implementation of the Dali Exxon New Energy Xiangyun Battery Industrial Park project can further promote the closed-loop construction of the new energy ecological circle industrial chain in Dali Prefecture, and better implement the provincial party committee and government's proposal to accelerate the promotion of photovoltaic and new energy in Dali. The industrial positioning of the advanced manufacturing industry based on batteries strongly supports the revitalization and development of the advanced manufacturing industry in Dali Prefecture.

Basic information of the project

The Dali Exxon New Energy Xiangyun Battery Industrial Park Project has an estimated total investment of 8.5 billion yuan and covers an area of about 515 acres. 

It is planned to build 18GWh battery cell plants and supporting facilities in two phases. The first phase of the project is planned to start construction in February 2023 and is expected to be completed and put into operation before the end of the year; the second phase of the project is planned to start construction in August 2023 and is expected to be put into operation in the third quarter of 2024. After the two phases of the project are completed and put into production, it is expected that the annual output value will not be less than 10 billion yuan, and the annual tax contribution will not be less than 300 million yuan.

Dali Exxon New Energy Xiangyun Battery Industrial Park mainly plans to produce all-tab lithium iron phosphate large cylindrical batteries, which have the advantages of high safety, good consistency, flexible grouping, and high production efficiency. Leading products The adaptability and cost economy have been highly recognized by the distributed energy storage market at home and abroad.

At the same time, Exxon New Energy Xiangyun Battery Industrial Park will actively respond to the national dual-carbon strategic goal, and build a zero-carbon factory in accordance with the internationally certified excellence standard.
