Hong Kong Underground Pipeline 3D Reconstruction Project

It is understood that the Hong Kong Underground Pipeline 3D Reconstruction Project is the Hong Kong Lands Department's first deep learning artificial intelligence cutting-edge technology research and implementation pilot project based on point cloud data. The Guangdong Institute is responsible for building an artificial intelligence platform for automatic identification of underground three-dimensional pipeline facilities based on point cloud data. The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government efficiently and dynamically updates the 3D information of underground pipelines.

After undertaking the data digitization service of underground public facilities in Hong Kong and the data conversion service of 3D underground public facilities, this project is the second time Guangdong Institute has won the trust of the Hong Kong Lands Department to contribute to the digital and intelligent construction of Hong Kong's cities.

110 kV Substation Project in Area A of Macao Reclamation

Recently, CEEC Guangdong Institute won the bid for the electrical general contracting project of the 110 kV substation in Area A of Macao Reclamation.

The project is located in the reclamation area A, which is a key construction area in Macau. It is adjacent to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Zhuhai Port Artificial Island, Outer Harbor Wharf and other external transportation facilities. It is an important passage and landing point for Macau to connect cities in the Pearl River Delta region. About 100,000 Macau residents moved here. As the first substation in Area A of reclamation, the construction of the project will play an important supporting role in improving the grid structure of Area A.

The consortium formed by Guangdong Institute and Xidian will undertake the EPC general contracting work of the project. This is also the first time in the history of Macao electric power construction that a mainland design institute undertakes the general contracting work of the project.
