On February 6, 2023, the first meeting of the New Year in Jinshan District, Shanghai - the 2023 Business Environment Optimization and Investment Promotion Work Conference was held in the district conference center, and 23 industrial projects with a planned total investment of 12.4 billion yuan were signed. On the same day, focusing on the strategic emerging industries of new materials, high-end intelligent equipment, life and health, and producer services, 23 industrial projects were officially signed and landed in Jinshan, with a planned total investment of 12.4 billion yuan.

Among them, the Three Gorges Jinshan Offshore Wind Power Project, jointly built by Jinshan District and Yangtze River Three Gorges Investment Management Co., Ltd., has a total investment of 3.1 billion yuan and a planned development capacity of 300,000 kilowatts in the first phase, implementing the strategy of "North-South Transformation" for Jinshan District Provide stable and clean energy supply, and promote the green and low-carbon transformation and upgrading of Jinshan industry.

It is understood that the Jinshan Offshore Wind Farm Phase I project site is located in the northern waters of Hangzhou Bay, Jinshan District, Shanghai. The planned sea area is about 42.64km2, and the center of the site is about 19.5km offshore. The planned developable capacity is 300MW. The project plans to install 36 wind turbines with a unit capacity of 8.5MW, with a total installed capacity of 306MW, and build a 220kV offshore booster station and an onshore centralized control center.
