On February 6, 2023, Wen Bing, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of China Construction Technology Group (hereinafter referred to as China Construction Technology Group), and his delegation went to Yan'an for talks and exchanges with Yan Hanping, deputy secretary of the Yan'an Municipal Party Committee and mayor. Ma Hai, the general manager of the China Architecture Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Chinese Academy) affiliated to the China Academy of Architecture, and Wang Yunxiang, the deputy mayor of Yan'an, signed a strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of the two parties.

Wen Bing, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of the Chinese Academy of Construction Sciences, thanked the Yan'an Municipal Government for its long-term support, and introduced in detail the basic information and business development of the Chinese Academy of Construction Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, focusing on the Group's fruitful achievements in inheriting Chinese culture, promoting industrial scientific and technological innovation and leading industrial innovation and development in the field of urban construction.

Yan Hanping, deputy secretary of the Yan'an Municipal Party Committee and mayor, expressed a sincere welcome to the visit of Wen Bing and his party. He introduced the social and economic development of Yan'an City in detail, especially the key work of urban construction in Yan'an City, and fully affirmed the building of many landmark projects embodying the spirit of Yan'an City by China Construction Technology, and hoped that China Construction Technology would continue to support and assist the urban development of Yan'an City.

The two sides had in-depth exchanges on cooperation issues such as urban organic renewal, county development and construction, cultural relics protection and utilization, and sponge city creation, and hoped to give full play to their respective characteristics and advantages in the future, focusing on further deepening cooperation in engineering construction, urban planning and renewal, and protection and utilization of red cultural heritage, and jointly promoting high-quality development of both sides.

During his stay in Yan'an, Vice Mayor Wang Yunxiang accompanied Wen Bing and his party to jointly inspect the urban construction of Yan'an, focusing on the key projects at the municipal level, such as the Yan'an Museum and the Yan'an National Fitness Center, which were designed by the China Academy of Construction.
