In 2023, there will be 96 fixed asset investment projects with an investment scale of more than 5 million yuan in Shanshan County, with a total investment of 111.227 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 12.378 billion yuan. It mainly presents several characteristics:

First, the four leading industrial projects have become the main force driving investment, and 24 new material and technological transformation industrial projects have been started, with a total investment of 48.844 billion yuan; Second, infrastructure projects have been continuously improved. In the fields of transportation, water conservancy, energy and other infrastructure, 38 projects have been commenced, with a total investment of 56.593 billion yuan; Third, adhere to the important bottom line of benefiting the people's livelihood and warming the hearts of the people, fully promote the upgrading of public service facilities, and implement 18 livelihood projects such as affordable housing projects, health care, sports and education, with a total investment of 4.134 billion yuan.

Silicon-based new materials are one of the four major industrial leading industries determined by Turpan City, and are an important support for Shanshan County to build a silicon industry city and build a strong industrial demonstration area. As a leading enterprise in the silicon-based new material industry, Hesheng Silicon plans to invest 20 billion yuan in 2023 to build 200000 tons/year of polysilicon, 400000 tons/year of organic silicon in Phase III, 400000 tons/year of industrial silicon in Phase III, and 8 × 75MW back pressure unit and other projects.

After the completion of the project, the output value of the industrial park will be doubled, the various taxes will be paid by 2 billion yuan, the new employment will be about 10000 people, and the fixed employees in the factory will be 20000 people, fully showing the cluster construction effect.
