Recently, the winning bid for the Grand Canal Green and Low-Carbon Science and Innovation Industrial Park project in the start-up area of Xiyan Lake Ecological Science and Technology City in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province has been released. The consortium composed of China Energy Construction and Gezhouba Group won the bid, with an estimated contract price of 13.3 billion yuan.

Project Overview

Construction site: Luoshe Town, Huishan District, Wuxi City

The project involves a land area of about 141 hectares, extending to Xilicao River in the east, Xixi Avenue in the west, National Highway 312 in the south and Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in the north. The main construction includes office facilities for productive research and development offices, scientific research offices, and business offices, as well as supporting commercial services, cultural facilities, residential facilities, logistics facilities, and power supply facilities. The newly added construction volume is about 1,495,800 square meters.

Project positioning: After the completion of this project, it will be the source of innovation in the high-tech zone. It will create conditions for the introduction of high-end innovation resources and the introduction of major projects, and will provide an adaptive carrier for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, the incubation of high-tech enterprises and the headquarters economy. Relying on the cultural accumulation of the canal water town, the green and low-carbon construction concept serves the construction of the innovation ecosystem of Huishan Provincial High-tech Zone, and realizes the activation of the cultural context, low-carbon leadership, industrial upgrading, and the implementation of scientific and technological innovation.
