Recently, the reporter from the State Rail Transit Electrical Equipment and System Technical Committee learned that the "Technical Guidelines for the Matching of Rail Transit Train Phase Transition System" submitted by China to the International Electrotechnical Commission has passed the vote of global member states, which is the first time that China has presided over the formulation of international standards in the field of railway electrification technology.
The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is one of the three internationally recognized international standardization organizations. The Technical Guidelines for the Matching of Phase Separation Systems of Rail Transit Trains adopted by this vote are mainly used to regulate the system functions of the train to control the power-off phase separation or the ground equipment to control the power-off phase separation.
It is expected that in the next 3-5 years, China, as the convener, will organize domestic experts and technical experts from Canada, France, the United Kingdom, Japan, Russia, Switzerland and other six countries to jointly complete the drafting of standards, which will be issued after being voted by international member countries and applied to the construction and operation management of international electrified railways.
Chinese standards go to the world
Not only railway electrification standards, but in recent years, the International Railway Union has issued and implemented a number of high-speed railway construction standards formulated by China, of which 11 system-level standards have filled the international gap.

By the end of 2022, the operating mileage of China's high-speed railway has reached 42000 kilometers. The International Union of Railways has successively issued and implemented the standards for high-speed railway design, communication signal, infrastructure, power supply and other standards formulated under the auspices of China. The experts of China Railway Group presided over and participated in the preparation and revision of more than 60 important technical standards of high-speed railway, train network, braking system and other disciplines of the International Union of Railways, presided over and completed 11 system-level standards of high-speed railway, filling the gap of international standards in key areas such as high-speed railway implementation and design.
On the basis of summing up the successful experience of the world's high-speed railway design, the innovative achievements and advantages of China's high-speed railway design concept, technical equipment, key parameters, maintenance and other aspects have been comprehensively and systematically incorporated, which has contributed Chinese wisdom and Chinese plan to the construction and operation of the world's high-speed railway.Editor/Ma Xue
