Lukashenko said that the development of Belarus is inseparable from the experience of China. "When we first visited China, we studied the experience of China's special economic zones. Subsequently, we established several free economic zones based on China's experience, including the China-Belarus Industrial Park."

The China-Belarus Industrial Park is the largest investment attraction project in Belarus, and it is also a Belt and Road cooperation project promoted by the heads of state of China and Belarus and highly valued by the two governments. Since the two heads of state inspected the China-Belarus Industrial Park in May 2015, the development and construction of the industrial park has advanced rapidly, and new achievements have been continuously made.

Looking back on the development of the China-Belarus Industrial Park in recent years, Lukashenko said that despite the adverse effects of the new crown epidemic and various crises and chaos, the China-Belarus Industrial Park has continued to develop, with 19 companies settling in last year alone. According to the latest statistics, as of February 22, 2023, the number of enterprises entering the China-Belarus Industrial Park has reached 107, of which 7 are newly added enterprises since the beginning of this year.

In recent years, the cooperation between China and Belarus in the field of scientific and technological innovation has been deepening.

On November 4, 2022, the full-cycle high-tech agro-industrial complex project of the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation undertaken by a Chinese company was officially put into operation in Minsk Oblast, Belarus. This project is the first amino acid production enterprise in Belarus and the first foreign exchange earning and import substitution project in Belarus grain deep processing industry.
