Recently, U Dang Han, Minister of Electric Power of Myanmar, and his team inspected the Jingda Photovoltaic Power Plant Project invested and constructed by Power Construction Haitou Co., Ltd., and spoke highly of the project construction. Chinese-funded enterprises represented by China Power Construction are helping Myanmar's infrastructure construction. Wu Danghan and his entourage inspected the construction of Jingda Photovoltaic Project on site, and listened to the report on the progress of the project in terms of project progress, quality management, technological innovation, energy conservation and emission reduction, and social responsibility fulfillment since the start of construction. Wu Danghan expressed his gratitude to the efforts made by the participating units of PowerChina in promoting the construction progress of the photovoltaic project group in central Myanmar, and highly praised the outstanding role played by PowerChina in Myanmar's power industry. The Kyaukpyu gas-fired power station and five photovoltaic power station projects invested and constructed by Haitou Company are expected to be put into commercial operation as scheduled.

The photovoltaic project group in central Myanmar is invested and constructed by PowerChina. The five sub-projects are located in Magway Province, Mandalay Province and Bago Province. They are all located in areas with the best light resources in Myanmar, and the average annual equivalent utilization hours exceed 2100 hours. The planned grid-connected capacity of the project is 160MW, and it will be constructed in five sites in the same batch, and will be connected to the Myanmar National Grid nearby. It is estimated that after the project is completed, it will become the largest new energy power generation project group in Myanmar, providing the host country with green, economical and reliable clean energy supply, and helping local social development and improving people's livelihood.
