In order to speed up the preliminary work of the G3036 Aksu - Alar Expressway "project, the Corps Transportation Bureau recently organized the review meeting of the Feasibility Study Report of G3036 Aksu - Alar (Expressway) Highway Project by combining online and offline during holidays.

The feasibility study report passed the review

As the first national highway listed in the national highway network of the Corps, this project is also the largest investment in vehicle purchase tax during the 14th Five-Year Plan period of the Corps. The Highway Branch attaches great importance to and carefully organizes the preparation of the report. At the meeting, the members of the project team reported to the experts and leaders from 12 aspects, including project overview, economic and transportation development and planning, traffic volume analysis and prediction, technical investment estimation and fund raising, standard construction plan, recommended project overview, construction scale, economic evaluation, implementation plan, land use evaluation, energy conservation evaluation, social evaluation and problems and suggestions.

The expert group believes that the project report conforms to the requirements of the Measures for Preparation of Feasibility Study Report of Highway Construction Projects and relevant specifications, with basically complete data and relatively complete content. It is unanimously agreed that the project has passed the review, and the feasibility study report document will be submitted after modification. The project team of the Highway Branch will further revise and improve the report according to the opinions of the expert group to ensure that the preliminary work of the project is carried out with high standards and efficiency, and to promote the construction of a powerful transportation country in the Corps.

The route of G3036 National Expressway starts in Aksu City, starts from the G314 round-the-city expressway, passes through Liutuan, Duolang Reservoir and Jiutuan, crosses the Aksu - Alar Railway, crosses the national highway G580 Ata Highway, the Tarim River and the national highway G217, and ends at the Alar - Hotan section of the national highway G580.

G3036 Aksu - Alar Expressway

The design speed of the project is 120km/h, two-way four-lane, and the total length of the route is about 113.988km. It is understood that this expressway is new and not expanded on the original S207 provincial highway. The line is located on the east side of Liutuan and Duolangshui Road. After the completion of G3036 expressway, the traffic time of Aksu and Alar is expected to be reduced from nearly 2 hours to about 1 hour, which will greatly improve the traffic efficiency of the two cities and further promote the development of military-land integration.
