The project to be implemented is the Wushan-Guandu section of the Xuanhan-Kaizhou-Yunyang-Wuxi-Wushan Expressway. This project starts from the Wushan Interchange of G42 Shanghai-Chengdu Expressway, crosses the Yangtze River via Hongshiliang to Luojiazui, sets up a Guandu super-long tunnel to pass through the Wangxia Mountains to Guandu Town, and ends in Guandu Town. It can be connected to the planned Wanzhou to Badong in the long run Expressway, the whole line is 18.125 kilometers long, with 4025m/7 bridges, including 1 extra-large bridge 1470m/6 large and medium bridges 2555m/6; the total length of tunnels is 12752m/3, including 8450m/1 extra-long tunnel and 4302 long tunnels m/2; bridges and tunnels accounted for 92.6%; 4 interchanges, including 1 hub interchange and 3 general interchanges; 2 separate interchanges; 855 acres of new permanent land.
