The two new energy projects launched by CEEC this time make full use of the abundant local resources, promote the development of local new energy with high efficiency and high quality, and help Uzbekistan and the global energy structure transformation and upgrading.

Bash and Zankeldi Wind Power Project

Recently, CEEC Uzbekistan's Bash and Zankeldi wind power projects successfully held the groundbreaking ceremony, and the first wind turbine platform started construction on the next day. Bahtiyor, the CEO of the project owner ACWA Power Project Company, Yu Wei, the deputy general manager of Zhejiang Thermal Power, and the person in charge of the project department participated in the above activities.

Bahtiyor expressed his gratitude to Energy China for its efforts during the preparatory period for project performance, and hoped that the project department will continue to work hard, carefully organize the construction, speed up the construction progress, and strive for early completion, early production, and early results of the project, so as to contribute to the transformation of Uzbekistan's energy structure .

Yu Wei expressed his congratulations on the smooth start of the Uzbekistan wind power project. He said that the Uzbekistan Wind Power Project Department will speed up the project construction, hand over a full answer sheet to the project owners and local people, and help Uzbekistan's energy structure transformation.

The Bash and Zankeldi Wind Power Project in Uzbekistan is the wind power project with the largest total installed capacity under construction in Central Asia. During the construction and operation of the project, nearly 500 local jobs will be provided. After the project is put into operation, it is expected to reduce local carbon emissions by 1.6 million tons per year, greatly increase local power supply capacity, improve the local power structure, and help the Uzbekistan government achieve the 2030 national new energy strategic goal.

Tashkent 400MW Photovoltaic Storage Power Station

Xue Danfeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Energy China International Group, was invited by the Uzbekistan Ministry of Energy and ACWA Power to attend the groundbreaking ceremony of the 400MW solar-storage power station in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan Zhurabek Mirzamakhmudov, Minister of Investment Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov, Chairman of ACWA Power Mehmet Abnayan, First Vice Chairman of State Grid Corporation of Uzbekistan Abdul Malik Nazirov and others attended the commencement ceremony and delivered speeches.

Uzbekistan attaches great importance to new energy strategic planning, and is currently vigorously developing new energy and energy storage industries, promoting domestic energy and power structure adjustment and power supply stability, and ensuring and benefiting people's livelihood. The project is invested and developed by ACWA Power, and China Energy Construction will participate in the construction. After completion, it will greatly improve Uzbekistan's green power supply capacity and new energy development level, stimulate the vitality of industry and infrastructure, and continue to drive local employment. It is the first multinational enterprise An important achievement of the tripartite market cooperation.

Xue Danfeng said in an interview with the media at the scene that China can establish a key overseas country market position for Uzbekistan, and the total amount of investment and construction of wind power, gas combined cycle power stations, power transmission and transformation, building materials and other projects exceeds US$2 billion, and has now developed Became one of the largest foreign enterprise contractors in Uzbekistan, realizing the two-wheel drive and rolling development of contracting and investment.
