During the testing process of the Shunbei 84 inclined well, the staff obtained high-yield industrial oil and gas flow, with a daily output of 496.4 tons of crude oil and 653,000 cubic meters of natural gas, and the converted oil and gas equivalent reached 1,017 tons. This is currently the deepest vertical depth of 1,000 tons on land in Asia well.

The average burial depth of oil and gas reservoirs in the Shunbei Oil and Gas Field exceeds 7,300 meters, making it one of the deepest commercially developed oil and gas fields on land in the world.

According to information, Sinopec Shengli Petroleum Engineering Team 80116, which undertook the drilling of the Shunbei 84 inclined well, used an 8,000-meter DC-driven drilling rig upgraded from a 7,000-meter reinforced drilling rig manufactured by BOMCO.

At the end of 2021, this drilling rig began preparations for upgrading the 7,000-meter reinforced drilling rig to an 8,000-meter drilling rig during the construction of the 70458 team drilling the Shunbei 4-5H well.

Since receiving the user's demand for drilling rig modification, BOMCO's service team held several working meetings. The East China Company of the sales company and the Maintenance Company of the sales company clarified the division of labor plan, cooperated sincerely, took the courage to take responsibility, and formulated a detailed renovation plan.

During the implementation of drilling rig transformation, the production scheduling plan for self-made parts and purchased parts was issued in advance in a timely manner, and service personnel were reasonably arranged to arrive at the maintenance service center to stand by. The BOMCO service team is on duty in turn. Through the hard work of 8 staff members working overtime for 64 days, the drilling rig has been upgraded and upgraded. The load capacity of the derrick has been fully utilized. The control system of the driller's room can better meet the needs of the 8,000-meter drilling rig. The drilling rig renovation and upgrading project finally won the full recognition of Shengli Tarim Branch, and on April 24, 2022, the 80116 team successfully spud operation in 84X in the Shunbei oil area.
