The two parties signed the CRRC New Energy Intelligent Manufacturing Base Project on the spot, with a total investment of 10.2 billion yuan, and the project will be constructed in three phases. In the first phase, 6 new production lines for offshore wind power blades with a level of more than 100 meters will be installed, which can produce 300 sets of offshore large-megawatt-level blades per year. In the second phase, a large-megawatt main engine production line, a full-power main engine testing and verification platform, an energy storage equipment and system integration production line, a converter production line, and an offshore wind power equipment R&D center will be newly launched. The third phase of the new Shanghai deep sea operation and maintenance robots, sensors, transformers, frequency conversion and pitch and other production lines.

Yu Weiping, vice president of CRRC, said that the establishment of CRRC's intelligent equipment manufacturing project in Sheyang is a manifestation of the implementation of the national dual-carbon development strategy by both parties. He pointed out that CRRC's new energy equipment has a relatively complete industrial chain, and has undertaken digital and intelligent technologies for high-speed rail, complementing Sheyang's resources, policies, and industrial advantages.
