Up to now, the construction of the eight national computing power hub nodes of the East Digital West Computing Project has all started, and the Eastern Digital West Computing Project has entered the comprehensive construction stage from the system layout.

In Gansu, the Qingyang National Data Center Cluster started construction. After completion, it will focus on serving the computing power needs of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Yangtze River Delta, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, creating a nationwide computing power guarantee base. Among the eight national computing power hubs that have already started construction, nearly 70 new data center projects will be started in 2023. Among them, the construction scale of new data centers in the west exceeds 600,000 racks, doubling year-on-year. So far, the national computing power network architecture has been initially formed.

Since the start of the East Count West Count project, the country’s new investment has exceeded 400 billion yuan. During the entire 14th Five-Year Plan period, it will drive more than 3 trillion yuan of investment in various fields.Editor/Ma Xue
