The first regional express line across Beijing and Hebei provinces, Beijing Subway Line 22 - Pinggu Line has been fully started.

At the construction site of Guanzhuang Station on the Pinggu Line, the foundation has been dug and the main structure of the station is under construction. Guanzhuang Station is currently the deepest station in the Beijing section of the Pinggu Line. A normal underground subway station usually has two floors in total, the station hall floor and the platform floor, but here is three floors, one hall floor and two platform floors.

Jiang Ruijun, Director of the Safety Production Department of the Rapid Rail Company affiliated to Beijing Investment Railway: The Pinggu Line project has entered the comprehensive construction stage. The construction bidding of 20 civil engineering tenders along the entire line has been completed, and 14 tenders have achieved substantive start. This year, 38% of the main structure of the planned station of the Pinggu Line has been completed.

Pinggu Line 22 starts from Beijing East Bridge in the west, ends in Pinggu Central City in the east, and passes through Langfang City, Hebei Province. The total length of the line is about 81.82km. There are a total of 21 stations on the line. The design speed is 160 kilometers per hour for the ground and elevated sections, and 120 kilometers per hour for the underground section. After the opening of the Pinggu Line, the shortest time from Sanhe City in Langfang, Hebei Province, and Pinggu District in Beijing to the central city of Beijing will reach 32 minutes and 55 minutes respectively, entering the 1-hour traffic circle.Editor/Ma Xue
