Talking about the reasons for joining China Railway Group, Zhu Wenying said: "I have been very interested in protecting the natural environment since I was a child. I majored in environmental engineering in college and wanted to do some challenging work when I graduated. I heard that China Railway Group participated in The construction of the first phase of the Kuala Lumpur MRT, so I wanted to try it.”

After joining the company, Zhu Wenying basically went to the construction site every day to check the environmental conditions, including the compliance of black smoke emission, sewage treatment and chemical storage, etc., and formed a written report. If a problem is found, she will discuss the solution with the construction team to ensure that the construction impact is minimized.

It rains a lot in Malaysia, and the rainy season has more torrential rains. "At the beginning of the project, the construction of the underground station required a lot of excavation work. If there is heavy rain at this time, the heavy rain will mix with the soil and turn into muddy water. We have to do everything possible to save it on site and then treat it through sewage treatment equipment into clean water. We do not allow any sewage to be discharged outside the site." Zhu Wenying said.

There are still several legal books on Zhu Wenying's desk. She said that in order to do a good job, she needs to be familiar with the legal provisions of Malaysia on the environment, and strictly compose the environmental management plan according to the law. Now, she has gone from "knowing nothing" when she first joined the job to "knowing what is written in which article and which item is written without looking at it."

In Zhu Wenying's view, joining China Railway Group seems to be on the "fast lane" of growth. "The environmental management of the MRT 2 project is very strict. I work here for three months, which may be equivalent to others working for three years. Our work is very efficient. I need to master all things in a short period of time, and then solve the on-site problems. question."

In Chen Haipeng's view, the smooth progress of the project is inseparable from the hard work of local employees. With the full opening of MRT 2, Zhu Wenying is sorting out and archiving the inspection reports of previous years and summarizing experience.
