According to reports, National Highway 219 starts from Kanas, Xinjiang and ends in Dongxing, Guangxi, with a total length of 10,065 kilometers. It is the longest national highway on the southwestern border of China and the closest to the border. The total length of Longling County is 160.582 kilometers, and 26.939 kilometers of secondary roads have been built.

The Longling Huangcaoba-Longzhen bridge section, which was started this time, has a total length of 94.544 kilometers. It starts at Huangcaoba in Longling County, passes through Xiangda Town, Pingda Township, and Mengnuo Town, and ends at Nujiang Longzhen in Mengnuo Town. The whole line of the bridge adopts the standard construction of the second-class highway. The direct construction and installation cost of the project is estimated to have a total investment of 3.216 billion yuan. It is planned to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2025.
