On March 20, 2023, with the official launch of the first-quarter key projects in Tieling City, the first phase of the 500,000-kilowatt wind power project of SPIC Tieling City's one-million-kilowatt wind-solar-thermal-storage multi-energy complementary demonstration project was fully started. .

The first phase of the project is divided into Qingkai 210MW wind power project and Tieling County 290MW wind power project. The construction sites involve Tieling County, Kaiyuan City and Qinghe District. It is planned to build 100 wind turbines with a single capacity of 5MW, and build three 220kV booster stations and Supporting expansion of the 500kV main transformer transmission project, with a total investment of 3.076 billion yuan.

At present, the first phase of the 500,000-kilowatt wind power project has been approved by the Municipal Development and Reform Commission. The preliminary procedures have been basically completed, and the conditions for starting construction will soon be available. We will strive to clear the 210MW wind power project and connect it to the grid at full capacity by the end of 2023. The overall 500,000-kilowatt wind power project will be completed in August 2024.
