Project Overview

G15 Shenhai Expressway, Ningbo Jiangshan to Ma'aoling section is a part of G15 Shenhai Expressway, one of the 11 north-south longitudinal lines of the national expressway network. It is also a part of the vertical line of Yongtaiwen Expressway. The G15 Shenhai Expressway Ningbo Jiangshan-Ma'aoling Section Reconstruction and Expansion Project is divided into two projects: the G15 Shenhai Expressway Ningbo Jiangshan-Xiwu Section Reconstruction and Expansion Project, and the G15 Shenhai Expressway Ningbo Xiwu-Maaoling Section Reconstruction and Expansion Project.

The total length of the main line of this project is 69.069km, of which the width along the old road is 53.615km, the new line is 15.454km, and the length of the Meilin branch line is 2.99km. A total of 6 intercommunications and 2 service areas are set up in this project. Among them, 3 existing intercommunications need to be reconstructed in situ, 1 relocated intercommunication, 2 newly built intercommunications, 1 expanded service area, and 1 relocated service area. The main line is equipped with 20598m/114 bridges, including 10726m/5 super-large bridges, 7589m/18 large bridges, 2283m/91 medium and small bridges; 5400.5m/5 tunnels, including 4530.5m/3 long tunnels and 870m medium and short tunnels /2 blocks; the length of bridges and tunnels accounts for 37.65% of the total length of the route.
