China Railway No. 1143 TBM successfully rolled off the production line in Zhengzhou

On March 21, the second hard rock roadheader Zhongtie No. 1143, which was used in the cable tunnel project of Yongin Semiconductor Industrial Park in South Korea, passed the customer acceptance and rolled off the production line at the Zhengzhou base.

A few days ago, China Railway No. 1141 single-shield TBM was launched in Yongin Semiconductor Industrial Park, South Korea. This is the first time that China Railway's single-shield TBM has been used in South Korea. It is also following the Incheon Metro and Xinqingzhou Cable Projects in South Korea that the equipment products of China Railway once again serve the tunnel construction in South Korea.

The cable tunnel project of Yongin Semiconductor Industrial Park in South Korea has a total length of 5,183 meters and is divided into three sections. A total of three China Railway Equipment tunnel boring machines are used for construction. Among them, the excavation diameter of China Railway No. 1141 equipment is 4.38 meters, which is used in the second tunnel section. The total length of the section is 2119 meters, and the maximum buried depth is 175 meters. The geology is mainly gneiss, which is highly abrasive. Rivers place higher requirements on the stability of equipment.

In order to ensure the smooth excavation of the project, China Railway Equipment set up an international service team to seize the time, ensure quality, earnestly perform the contract, and complete the on-site assembly, commissioning and starting tasks of the equipment as scheduled, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent entry of China Railway No. 1142 and China Railway No. 1143 equipment foundation.

China Railway No. 1207, the first domestic shield machine exported to South America, left Hong Kong

A few days ago, the Cora Coralina shield machine used for Sao Paulo Metro Line 2-Verde departed for Brazil from Taicang Port, China, and is expected to arrive in Santos on May 5. At the beginning of 2023, the China Railway No. 1207 earth pressure balance shield machine developed by China Railway Equipment successfully passed the CML2 joint inspection and acceptance at the Pinghu General Assembly Base in Zhejiang. The largest diameter shield machine to the South American market.

It is predicted that the shield machine will arrive at Santos Port on May 5 after stopping in Dalian, Zhangjiagang and Brazil Nandahe. The whole set of equipment weighs nearly 2,800 tons and was recently shipped out by the Leopold Staff, which is flying the Maltese flag.

The diameter of the shield machine is 11.66 meters, and the whole machine is about 100 meters long. Exceeding the German Herrenknecht TBM that excavated the tunnel of Rio de Janeiro Metro Line 4, it has become the largest TBM ever in Brazil. It is expected that after unloading in May, 17 containers and 25 components will be transported by truck to Rapadura in the eastern region Complex, where the machines will be assembled to begin the first phase of excavation.

The tunnel project of Sao Paulo Metro Line 2 mainly connects Vila Prudente Station and Penha Station. The total tunnel excavation mileage is about 6,500 meters, and the maximum buried depth reaches 41 meters. The tunnel stratum is mainly composed of sand, silt, and clay, accompanied by complex geological conditions such as large gravels and intrusive rocks along the way.
