Honduras is an important country in Central America. The Honduras government chose to stand with 181 countries in the world, recognize and promise to abide by the one-China principle, sever so-called "diplomatic relations" with Taiwan, establish diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China, and promise not to have any official relations with Taiwan, No official dealings will be made. Earlier, Honduras severed diplomatic relations with Taiwan
