On March 27, 2023, the commencement ceremony of the Chengyi International Logistics Park project in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River was held simultaneously in Chengdu and Yibin. At the ceremony, as the main leaders of Chengdu and Yibin jointly pressed the project start button, it marked the official commencement of the Chengyi International Logistics Park project located in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River in the Sanjiang New Area of Yibin, and also marked a new progress in Chengyi cooperation.

According to reports, the Chengyi International Logistics Park project in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River is a demonstration project of cross regional industrial construction circle and strong chain cooperation jointly created by Chengdu Industrial Group and state-owned enterprises in Yibin City. The total investment of the project is about 3 billion yuan, with a land area of about 2000 mu. Among them, the total planned land for the first phase of the project is about 206 mu, with a total planned investment of about 417 million yuan. Currently, the first phase of the project has officially started construction, and it is expected to complete the main construction of warehouses and supporting buildings within 2023.

The project aims to build a regional logistics distribution center and an industrial supply chain service center, with the overall positioning of green and low-carbon, intelligent logistics, and headquarters economy, and to build a 2+3 comprehensive freight hub system.

After the completion of the project, it will build a supply chain collaboration platform with production enterprises to provide warehousing, distribution and processing, information trading and other services for key production enterprises, and promote the coordinated development of logistics industry and industry.
