COLI Won the Bid for Power Transmission and Transformation Project in Nepal
On April 2, 2023, China Overseas Nepal Company officially received the notification of winning the bid for the Prashoni-Birganj 132kV Underground Transmission Line Project in Nepal. The owner of the project is the Nepal Electricity Authority.
As the first project won by the Nepal company in 2023, the project is located in Birganj, an important town in southern Nepal, about 130 kilometers away from the capital Kathmandu. The main engineering content of the project includes design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a 132/33/11 kV air Insulated substation (AIS) and a 132/66 kV gas insulated substation (GIS) and 132kV underground cable laying work between the two substations, the project contract period is 18 months, and the defect liability period is 12 months.
After the project is completed, it will effectively alleviate the problem of local electricity shortage, and play a positive role in maintaining the stability of the local power grid, driving regional employment, and promoting inter-regional economic communication and integration.
China State Construction won the bid for Burundi National Highway Project
Recently, China State Construction received the notice of winning the bid for the Burundi No. 1 national road diversion project issued by the Bureau of International Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce. The aided Burundi No. 1 national highway diversion project is located in Bujumbura, the capital of Burundi. The total length of the line is about 5.5 kilometers.
This project is another important aid project of the Chinese government to Burundi. The implementation of the project will further improve the traffic network of the capital of Burundi and help Burundi's economic development. It is also the first project undertaken by China State Construction Engineering Corporation in Burundi, which will open up a new situation for the company's subsequent operation and development in Burundi.
CCCC No. 1 Public Transport Bureau won the bid for the road project in Uganda
Recently, CCCC No. 1 Engineering Bureau received the bid-winning notice from the Uganda National Highway Bureau and successfully won the bid for the Nakawuka (Nakawuka) road design and construction general contracting project in Uganda. This is the first project that China Overseas has won in the field of power transmission and transformation in Nepal , the project is located in central Uganda, with a total length of about 70 kilometers and a construction period of 36 months.
The project content mainly includes existing road widening, asphalt pavement upgrading and auxiliary facilities such as drainage. As an important part of the road network planning of Uganda's third five-year development plan, the project will greatly improve the surrounding road traffic conditions and help the economic development of the project area after completion.
