Recently, the oil and gas drilling and production platform of Huizhou 26-6 Oilfield, the largest oil and gas field discovered by self-operated exploration in the Pearl River Mouth Basin of China, started construction at Zhuhai Zhonghai-Fluor Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Chiwan Sembawang Construction Site respectively, marking Huizhou The 26-6 oilfield development project has entered the construction stage in an all-round way.
Huizhou 26-6 Oilfield Development Project
Huizhou 26-6 Oilfield is located in the Pearl River Mouth Basin of China, with an average water depth of about 113 meters. It is the largest oil and gas field discovered by China's self-operated exploration in the Pearl River Mouth Basin so far, with proven geological reserves of 50 million cubic meters of oil equivalent. The Huizhou 26-6 oilfield is also the first time that China has made a major breakthrough in the exploration of the new ancient buried hill area in the eastern South China Sea, breaking the ice in one fell swoop with no commercial discovery in this area for more than 40 years.
Huizhou 26-6, the largest oil and gas field discovered by China in self-operated exploration in the eastern South China Sea, is located in the Huizhou Oilfield Group
Huizhou 26-6 oil and gas field is located in the Pearl River Mouth Basin, 162 kilometers southeast of Hong Kong. The proven oil and gas layer is more than 400 meters thick, and the geological reserves are 50 million cubic meters of oil equivalent. It is the largest oil and gas field discovered by China's self-operated exploration in the Pearl River Mouth Basin. After the oilfield development project is completed, it will help the high-quality development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Young Commandos of Huizhou Oilfield Group
According to the plan, the Huizhou 26-6 oilfield development project will build a new large-scale integrated oil and gas drilling and production platform with a total weight of about 30,000 tons. The jacket and upper modules will be built in Shenzhen and Zhuhai respectively. The platform has a total of 40 well slots, 17 of which are used for natural gas exploitation. Among them, COOEC-Fluor Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., located on the bank of Gaolan Port in Zhuhai, will undertake the construction of an 8-leg fixed drilling platform with a block structure weighing 6,650 tons. The block is divided into 14 structural pieces, and the prefabricated hoisting scheme will be adopted on site to achieve integrated construction to the greatest extent and reduce the workload of on-site paint repairs.
