The China-Europe Railway Express of Jingping Integrated Logistics Hub has successfully arrived at Belerast Railway Station in Moscow Oblast, Russia. This is the first China-Europe train from Beijing to go directly to Europe.

It is understood that the China-Europe train was fully loaded with 55 containers of building materials, home appliances, clothing and other goods. It departed from the Mafang Station of the Pinggu Local Railway in Beijing on March 16, exited the Manzhouli Railway Port in Inner Mongolia, and traversed westward all the way. Russia, arrived at Belerast Railway Station at 18:30 local time on the 1st. The whole journey is about 9,000 kilometers and takes 16 days, arriving two days earlier than planned.

Alexander Shukin, on-duty director of the Belerast Logistics Center, said that the strengthening of railway transportation cooperation between Russia and China is of great significance to the relationship between the two countries, which will help to strengthen and develop the economic and trade ties between the two countries and better realize the European Union. The docking of the Asian Economic Union and the Belt and Road Initiative, we look forward to more China-Europe trains from Beijing in the future.

The Belerast Logistics Center is jointly built by China Liaoning Port Group and Russian Railways, located 30 kilometers north of Moscow. The project started construction in 2017, and the two parties plan to build it into the largest multi-functional international logistics center integrating centralized transfer and warehousing in the Moscow region.
