The bridge is 1,652.27 meters in length, with a total of 45 spans, and has two 44 piers. Its main piers are located on the main Mekong river, with the highest pier height. 52 meters, it is the tallest pier and the longest span bridge on the entire line of China-Laos Railway.
As a noteworthy project in the Belt and Road project, Helong of this project will further shorten the distance between the countries along the Belt and Road.
