On April 18, 2023, Dongfang Electric Wind Power Co., Ltd. and the New Energy Branch of Northern United Power Co., Ltd. signed a joint development agreement for a wind-solar hydrogen-production integrated demonstration project in Chengdu. Hu Xiukui, Vice President of Dongfang Electric Co., Ltd.; Ge Hongbing, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Dongfang Wind Power; General Manager Xi Bin attended the signing ceremony.

Before the signing ceremony, the two parties held a discussion and conducted in-depth and friendly exchanges on the new energy wind-solar hydrogen production project, flexibility transformation, customized design of large bases in Sha, Ge, and Huang, and technological innovation of large-capacity units.

The two parties will take the opportunity of jointly promoting the integrated demonstration project of wind-solar hydrogen production, give full play to their respective advantages, further deepen cooperation in various fields, create value together, share success, and contribute to the promotion of national green and low-carbon development.
