China Southern Network International's participation in Chile's Transelec company won the bid for seawater desalination project

Recently, Chilean Transelec, a subsidiary of China Southern Power Grid International (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., successfully won the bid for the seawater desalination and water supply project of Codelco, Chile's largest state-owned copper mining company, with an estimated total investment of US$2.064 billion. The Codelco water supply project is the first seawater desalination project successfully won by Chile's Transelec. It is another major breakthrough after successfully winning the bid for Chile's first high-voltage direct current transmission line KILO project with China Southern Power Grid International (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. and Colombia ISA in 2021. , which is an important milestone in its diversified development strategy.

It is reported that this project is Chile's first large-scale shared water conservancy infrastructure construction project. Codelco, Chile's largest state-owned copper mining company, is in charge of bidding, and a consortium formed by Chile's Transelec and Japan's Marubeni successfully won the bid. After the completion of the project, it will help promote the recycling of water resources, and has far-reaching significance for ensuring local domestic water supply, ecological environment protection, and sustainable development.

The Ninth Bureau of Hydropower signed the Mauritius infrastructure project

Recently, the No. 9 Hydropower Bureau and the Mauritius Meijin Company successfully signed the contract for the infrastructure project of the Pierrefond Community in Mauritius.

The project is located in the Heihe District of Mauritius. The main construction content includes the construction of 10.5 kilometers of asphalt roads, 2.7 kilometers of fences and power grids, various drainage structures, provision of various road facilities, supply, installation and trial operation of 8.6 kilometers of water supply and sewage pipelines, electricity and communications Facilities construction, etc., the project duration is 730 calendar days.
