On April 26, 2023, the bidding announcement for the construction drawing review of the new Pingliang-Qingyang Railway Project was released. After the construction drawings are approved, the conditions for construction bidding will be met, and the Pingliang-Qingyang Railway will enter the countdown to start construction.

This project is an important part of the railway channel from Lanzhou to Pingliang to Qingyang, and it has built a new transportation route between Lanzhou and Qingyang. It forms a straight and convenient passage from Lanzhou and its west to Longdong, Shaanxi and its east.

Project Overview

Construction project location: Pingliang City and Qingyang City, Gansu Province.

Construction project scale: Pingliang South Railway Station to Qingyang Railway Station, the total length of the line is 92.6 kilometers, of which the new line is 82.1 kilometers long, and the second line is 10.5 kilometers long. Three new stations will be built along the line.
