In order to build an integrated comprehensive transportation system in the Chengdu-Chongqing area, Sichuan accelerated the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing High-speed Railway and the Tongliang-Zizhong Expressway, and started construction. Chongqing expansion and other expressways, this year there will be 22 expressway passages built or under construction between Sichuan and Chongqing, effectively supporting the dual-core linkage and the rise of the central region.

According to Kou Xiaobing, the chief planner of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Transportation, Sichuan will focus on building two national comprehensive transportation hubs, Luzhou-Yibin and Wanzhou-Dazhou-Kaizhou, and will work with Chongqing to speed up the construction of a shipping center on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. Construction will start from Chongqing to Syria via Chishui Expressways such as Yong, Dazhu and Dianjiang will promote the integrated development of South Sichuan, West Chongqing, Northeast Sichuan, and Northeast Chongqing.

At the same time, Sichuan is speeding up the construction of the main framework of the "two rings and three shoots" rail transit in the Chengdu metropolitan area, the "three rings and 20 shoots" expressway network, the implementation of the intercity "broken road" project, strengthening the connection and transformation of different modes of transportation, and promoting high-quality traffic The same network in the same city; enhance the connection, transformation and distribution capabilities of Chengdu Tianfu International Airport and Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, and improve the level of global connectivity and radiation energy level.

Sichuan will speed up the construction of Chengdu-Dawan high-speed railway, Jiuzhaigou-Mianyang and other expressways, promote the expansion of Chengdu radial expressways such as Chengya and Chengwenqiong, and newly start the construction of Chengdu-Emei Expressway. It is estimated that by 2025, the expressway capacity will increase by 40% .
