Over the past ten years, the rapid development of China's infrastructure has changed our travel and lifestyle. From smooth cargo flow to comfortable and convenient travel, from energy structure change to green and low-carbon development. UHV lines, known as energy superhighways, allow electricity to be transmitted over long distances without much loss. As a major energy country, China has built more than 30 UHV lines to pursue sustainable and green development.
Curious about China's UHV lines, recently Mu Zhicheng, a Pakistani student who has lived and studied in China for many years, came to the Yangtze River Great Span Section of the ±800 kV UHV Fufeng Line in Wangjiang County, Anqing City, Anhui Province. Migao’s platform has a close look at how people ensure the stable operation of this UHV line.
±800 kV Fufeng Line Annual Physical Examination
As an important project of China's west-to-east power transmission, the ±800 kV Fufeng line extends from the hydropower station in Sichuan Province to Shanghai, and can transmit 32 billion kWh of clean electricity to East China every year, effectively reducing carbon emissions.
According to Mu Zhicheng, the world is now pursuing green and sustainable development, and the popularization and application of UHV lines in China will provide an effective solution to ensure green development.Editor/Ma Xue
