Recently, CSCEC International won three livelihood projects in Hong Kong and Macao. Among them, two hospital projects with a total contract amount exceeding HKD 31.3 billion were awarded in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, namely the Kai Tak New Emergency Hospital Site A project and the Prince of Wales Hospital Phase II Reconstruction Phase I project; Successfully won the bid as a joint venture in the Macau Special Administrative Region for the design and construction of the southern section of the Light Rail East Line with a contract amount exceeding MOP 4.8 billion. The two hospital projects won in Hong Kong this time are both key projects in Hong Kong's first ten-year hospital development plan to alleviate the shortage of medical resources in Hong Kong and enhance the capacity of public medical services.

Among them, the Kai Tak New Emergency Hospital Site A project is located on Chengfeng Road in the Kai Tak Development Zone of Hong Kong, with a total construction area of approximately 420000 square meters. The project plans to build three new buildings for a new emergency hospital, which will become one of the largest emergency hospitals in Hong Kong. It will add 2400 beds and 37 operating rooms to meet the urgent needs of the future population in the Kai Tak Development Zone for public medical services.

The first phase of the second phase reconstruction of Prince of Wales Hospital is located on Yincheng Street, Sha Tin, New Territories, Hong Kong. The main works include the construction of a new wing building with a total construction area of 300000 square meters, as well as the renovation, renovation, and addition of the existing inpatient main building and trauma center. After the completion of this project, it is expected to add approximately 450 beds and 16 operating rooms to improve the operation of Prince of Wales Hospital.

Macau Light Rail Project

In order to effectively shorten the travel time between the Macao Peninsula and Taipa, Macau plans to build a light rail eastern route with a total length of approximately 7.7 kilometers, connecting three important ports in Macau, namely Taipa Pier, Guanzha Port, and Macau International Airport. The project is divided into two sections for implementation: south and north. The design and construction project for the southern section of the Macau Light Rail East Line, which was awarded as a joint venture, has a total length of 4.8 kilometers and includes three light rail stations, underwater shield tunnels, open cut tunnels, and the Taipa Line connecting overpass. Among them, the underwater shield tunnel has a diameter of 12.1 meters, making it the only single hole cross sea shield tunnel on the route and the first large-diameter cross sea tunnel in Macau.
