On May 8, 2023, the Hubei Wuhan Investment Promotion Conference was officially held in Shenzhen. More than 150 people from the world's top 500, World-renowned foreign companies, key state-owned enterprises, top 500 private companies, and key business associations attended the event to discuss cooperation and seek common development.

It is reported that a total of 68 projects were signed in this event, with a total contract value of 208.381 billion yuan. The contracted projects focus on Wuhan's 965 industrial system, involving new generation information technology, automobile manufacturing and services, biomedicine and general health, business logistics, modern finance, cultural tourism, high-end equipment, aerospace, intelligent manufacturing, green environmental protection, new energy materials, Intelligent construction and other fields.

Wuhan is an important city for enterprises in the Greater Bay Area to invest and expand. Since 2016, enterprises in the Greater Bay Area have invested more than 100 million yuan in more than 300 projects in Wuhan, with a total investment of nearly 1.2 trillion yuan. A large number of leading companies such as Huawei, Tencent, BYD, SF Express, China Star Optoelectronics, and Mindray Medical have major deployments in Wuhan, playing an important role in Wuhan's industrial transformation and upgrading, changing lanes and overtaking. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone joined hands with the Greater Bay Area again, and successfully signed contracts with China Resources Hubei Strategic Cooperation Project, China Resources Wuhan Medical Equipment Project, Zhizunbao Unmanned Coach Vehicle and AI Learning Vehicle Service Platform Project, Jinghong Technology AI Vision R&D and Production Base Project, Runmeikang pharmaceutical sales platform project and other five major projects.

During the event, Jianghan District of Wuhan City took advantage of the opportunity to hold an investment promotion conference in Shenzhen for investing in digital intelligence. Intelligent water comprehensive management system, artificial intelligence education, intelligent elderly care platform, Yunshang Jianghan Road, mass hotline intelligent early warning analysis system, intelligent fire protection integrated management system, district-level medical big data platform, intelligent parking integrated service platform, etc. The 12 contracted companies have reached cooperation with Jianghan District in areas including MeiG Intelligent Central China Regional Headquarters Project, Hang Seng Baotai Headquarters Project, Central China Digital Trade Industrial Park Project, and Central China Headquarters Smart Manufacturing Digital Factory Demonstration Base Project.
