Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration issued a list of the third batch of national large-scale wind power photovoltaic base construction projects, and the China Coal Pingshuo 600,000-kilowatt off-grid renewable energy hydrogen production project was included.

The main construction content of the project includes a 600,000-kilowatt photovoltaic power generation system, a hydrogen production system, and supporting power supply and distribution systems. The photovoltaic power generation of this project will be used for off-grid hydrogen production, mainly used to couple the green hydrogen demand of Pingshuo Group's coal chemical project, and help coal chemical industry reduce carbon emissions and green development.

The site selection of the photovoltaic field of the project is located in the coal mining subsidence and backfill treatment area of the open-pit mine of Pingshuo Group, so as to realize the integrated development of mine reclamation, greening and new energy. Photovoltaic power generation will all be used for off-grid hydrogen production, mainly used to couple the green hydrogen demand of Pingshuo Group's coal chemical project, and help coal chemical industry reduce carbon emissions and green development. After the completion of the project, the national large-scale wind power photovoltaic base project will be awarded, which will be the first national large-scale new energy base project of China Coal Group.

China Coal Pingshuo Coal-based Olefin New Materials and Downstream Deep Processing Integration Project has a total investment of 29.78 billion yuan. The construction site is located in Chaoyang New Material Industrial Park, Pinglu Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province. Bituminous coal with a high ash melting point is washed and selected as raw coal, and pulverized coal is used for pressurized gasification, and after conversion, purification, and methanol synthesis, 2.2 million tons/year of methanol is produced. Methanol is produced through methanol-to-olefins unit and olefin separation to produce intermediate products such as ethylene and propylene, which are further processed into polyolefins and new material products. The whole plant consists of 2.2 million tons/year coal-to-methanol, 800,000 tons/year methanol-to-olefin and olefin separation, 400,000 tons/year polyethylene, 200,000 tons/year polypropylene, 200,000 tons/year hydrogen peroxide device, 300,000 tons Ton/year HPPO unit, 300,000-ton/year polyether polyol unit, 100,000-ton/year PPC unit and other large-scale chemical production units, as well as supporting public works and auxiliary facilities.Editor/ZhangHui
