On May 13, 2023, the 2023CICEE International Construction Machinery Technology Development Summit Forum was held in Changsha. At the meeting, Li Qi, vice president of China Machinery Industry Federation, and Bian Yongming, chairman of China Construction Machinery Society, delivered speeches respectively. Li Qi pointed out that China's machinery industry is the most internationally competitive industry in my country's machinery industry, and the brilliant achievements of China's machinery industry are the result of the hard work of all the scientists, entrepreneurs and all workers present.

It is reported that China is currently a major manufacturing country of construction machinery in the world. There are more than ten construction machinery enterprises in my country that rank among the top 50 construction machinery companies in the world. Among them, Sany Heavy Industry is the world's largest excavator manufacturer, and Zoomlion is the world's largest China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. is the largest manufacturer of excavating machinery in the world. On April 20, the 20,000-ton Mito-tower crane successfully developed by Zoomlion also set a new world record.

Bian Yongming, chairman of the China Society of Construction Machinery, said at the meeting that as one of the organizers of the exhibition, the China Society of Construction Machinery has been committed to building a platform for exchanges and cooperation for enterprises, research institutes and scientific and technological workers. He hoped that by taking advantage of the forum's expert contests, he could gather consensus and gather strength to promote the exhibition to become a world-class construction machinery exhibition and event as soon as possible.
