With the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative around the world, Chinese companies have made great achievements in the field of infrastructure. Recently, PowerChina has signed two new overseas engineering projects, making positive contributions to the improvement of local infrastructure and efficient use of energy.

Tashkent International Financial Technology University Construction Project

Recently, PowerChina signed a contract with Uzbekistan Tashkent International Fintech University Construction Project. The project is located in the east of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, adjacent to the landmark New Uzbekistan National Park in Tashkent, Tashkent AKFA University and the Uzbekistan Olympic Village currently under construction.

The main project content is to build a multidisciplinary comprehensive university with a construction area of about 238,000 square meters and focusing on finance, including two teaching buildings, canteens, gymnasiums, student dormitories, faculty dormitories, basketball courts, volleyball courts, playgrounds, For related work such as parking lot and greening, the contract type is EPC+F, and the project adopts Chinese norms and Chinese standards.

This project is the first large-scale housing construction project undertaken by PowerChina Municipal in Central Asia and Russia, and it is also the first education project undertaken in Central Asia and Russia. After the project is completed, it is initially planned to set up 160 classes and send an average of 2,500 students to the society every year. It will greatly improve the level of higher education in Uzbekistan and fill the gap in financial professional education in Uzbekistan. It is a major educational project of great significance.

Maldives 11 MW Photovoltaic Project

Recently, PowerChina signed the general contract of 11 MW photovoltaic project in Maldives. This project is an important part of the Maldives clean energy investment promotion plan, and it is of milestone significance for the gradual realization of the diversification of Maldives' power supply structure and the promotion of the development of the local clean energy industry.

The project is located in several islands in the Maldives, and the main work includes the survey and design of 11 MW photovoltaic power plants, equipment procurement, and site civil engineering and installation. After the project is put into operation, the power energy will be connected to the local power grid, effectively alleviating the plight of power shortage, and improving residents' electricity consumption and quality of life.

The 11 MW photovoltaic project in Maldives is PowerChina's first photovoltaic project in Maldives, and it has successfully achieved a breakthrough in the field of new energy.
