Recently, the Bahrain-Naiman-Fuxin 500 kV power transmission and transformation project officially started. According to reports, the project starts from Chifeng Bahrain 500 kV substation, passes through Tongliao Naiman 500 kV substation, ends at Fuxin 500 kV substation, passes through Chifeng City and Tongliao City in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and Fuxin City in Liaoning Province, a total of 6 counties . The whole line is erected according to two parallel single circuits, the line length is about 718 kilometers, and the total investment is about 2.3 billion yuan.

Since the planning and construction of the project, State Grid Inner Mongolia Eastern Electric Power Co., Ltd. has established a special project promotion team and a special coordination working group to overcome difficulties such as complex external environment and difficult project construction, and effectively solve the difficult problems in project construction. The project department of the owner and the towns and villages in the territory have held construction coordination meetings many times to jointly promote related issues such as territorial coordination, forest acquisition and land acquisition, and follow up and supervise the forestry and grassland procedures, laying a solid foundation for the legal and compliant start of construction of the project.

After the Bahrain-Naiman-Fuxin 500 kV power transmission and transformation project is put into operation, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region can transmit 10 billion kWh of electricity to the Northeast every year, which is equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 4 million households and can replace the consumption of standard coal every year 3.3 million tons, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 7.8 million tons.
