The starting point of the expansion project of the Haikou section of the G98 Ring Expressway is connected to Macun Port, and it is paralleled along the 15 kilometers south side of the existing Haikou Ring Expressway. About 48.69 kilometers, Chengmai border is about 24.20 kilometers. It is planned to set up 12 interchanges, 1 service area and 1 maintenance work area along the whole line.

The G98 West Line to Haiwen Expressway is 67.43 kilometers long. It is planned to adopt the two-way eight-lane expressway standard with a design speed of 120 km/h and a standard roadbed width of 42 meters. The G98 West Line to Macun Port is 5.46 kilometers long. The regional two-way six-lane expressway standard, the design speed is 80 km/h, the standard roadbed width is 33.5 meters; the ground auxiliary road of the viaduct section is 4.4 km long, and it is proposed to adopt the two-way four-lane first-class highway standard in urbanized areas, the design speed is 60 km/h, The separated standard roadbed is 2×10.5 meters wide.
