On May 19, 2023, during the China-Central Asia Summit, a roundtable meeting between the President of Uzbekistan and Chinese entrepreneurs was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi. President Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan and Vice Premier He Lifeng of the State Council attended the meeting and held talks with high-level representatives of Chinese enterprises to promote economic and trade exchanges between enterprises of the two countries and promote industrial development and investment cooperation. Chen Xiaohua, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Energy China, was invited to attend and speak as a representative of Chinese entrepreneurs.

Chen Xiaohua said in his speech that Energy China has always been the main force in China-Uzbekistan's high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road and the promotion of green cooperation and development. The contract value exceeds US$3 billion. Energy China will firmly implement the high degree of consensus reached by the two heads of state on deepening all-round cooperation and building a China-Uzbekistan community with a shared future, and will join hands with partners from all walks of life in China and Ukraine to contribute to the comprehensive construction of a new Uzbekistan.
