In the context of energy transition, the development of renewable energy in Gansu is accelerating. In recent years, Jiuquan City has seized the double-carbon opportunities, closely focused on the construction of large new energy bases, and started a new round of large-scale development of new energy. Power installed scale is large

The construction of the third phase of Changle Power Plant's 2×1 million-kilowatt peak-shaving thermal power project in the province has started, and it is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2025. After the first, second, and third phases of Changle Power Plant are all put into operation, they can support the new energy base in the Hexi region to generate 60 billion kwh of electricity per year and send out 40 billion kwh, building a new type of power with new energy as the main body for Jiuquan and even the whole province The system has created favorable conditions for the large-scale optimal allocation and bundling of thermal power and new energy. Actively build new energy storage power stations on the power side. At present, the city's new energy is equipped with 230,000 kilowatts of new energy storage power stations on the power side, and strives to reach a scale of 800,000 kilowatts within the year. 210,000 kilowatts of solar thermal installed capacity has been built, and 510,000 kilowatts of installed capacity is under construction. Power grid transmission capacity is strong

One Qishao DC ±800 kV UHV DC channel, 4 750 kV substations, 12 public network 330 kV substations, and 9 750 kV transmission lines are connected to the surrounding power grids, forming a 750 kV Jiuquan, Mogao, Dunhuang, and Shazhou have a strong mainnet structure at the center. The two 750 kV power transmission and transformation projects in Yumen and Jinta have been approved. After completion, Yumen and Jinta areas can add 6.8 million kilowatts of new energy access capacity, and the power transmission capacity of Jiuquan New Energy Base will be further improved. The structure is further optimized. The city has built 60,000 kilowatts of energy storage power stations on the grid side, and plans to have an installed capacity of more than 260,000 kilowatts of independent energy storage power stations on the grid side within the year.
