A few days ago, the first wind turbine unit of Gansu Guazhou Baofeng Wind Energy Development Co., Ltd.'s 1.75 million-kilowatt wind power project was successfully hoisted in Guazhou County, Jiuquan City, Gansu Province. This project is the onshore wind power project with the largest single capacity in China, with a total of 333 Goldwind GWH191-5.27MW wind turbines installed. The smooth development of the project has effectively ensured that the Gansu Baofeng polysilicon whole industry chain project will be put into production early and achieve results. This project is the first large-scale three-green project in the country, which uses green electricity to produce green photovoltaic materials, and then uses green materials to manufacture photovoltaic equipment, realizing a closed energy loop from green to green.
Gansu Baofeng 1.75 million kilowatts wind power project is the second batch of demonstration projects for the integration of source, network, load and storage in the Shagehuang base. In April 2023, the construction work will start in an all-round way. After the project is completed, it is estimated that the annual power generation will reach 4.993 billion kwh, of which 60%-70% of the electricity will be supplied to Gansu Baofeng polysilicon whole industry chain project in the form of self-consumption.

The GWH191-5.27MW wind turbine selected for the project is a medium-speed series product of Goldwind Technology, which has three characteristics of high reliability, more economical and more friendly. The wind turbine adopts a bending moment decoupling structure design, applies yaw collector rings, and has an impeller diameter of 191 meters. It has excellent power generation capacity, efficient dispatching response, and friendly grid connection characteristics. It has been installed in batches in most regions of the country and operates stably. .
In order to ensure that the project is hoisted and connected to the grid on schedule, Goldwind has taken pre-process measures to install vibration detection equipment and automatic fire-fighting equipment before final assembly. In addition, through the implementation of the commission-free program, the electrical commissioning of the impeller in the engine room and other work will be done before leaving the factory. After the hoisting is completed, the quality acceptance of the on-site construction part will be passed, and one-key start-up can be realized.
Goldwind has also set up a supply and delivery team to follow up the installation progress in a timely manner. Since mid-March, in cooperation with Gansu Baofeng to receive the blades, transmission chains, and nacelle impellers, the supply of the four major components of wind turbines has reached as many as 80 sets in just one month.
